Alyeska Resort is Alaska’s largest ski resort, located in the Chugach Mountains near Girdwood, Alaska. Known for its expansive terrain and legendary snowfall, the resort features 1,610 acres of skiable terrain and receives more than 669 inches of snow annually. Alyeska is also home to the longest double black diamond ski run in North America.
Since 2009, Rocky Mountain Lift Services & Supplies Inc. and Rigging Specialties have supported Alyeska Resort with specialized ropeway services, lift maintenance support, and rigging solutions. Their work has included haul rope removal, track rope cleaning, and other technical ropeway maintenance services.
We have also supplied essential lift maintenance equipment and rigging products, including HIT16 hoists, shackle-type dynamometers, Zurbrugg AKZ 600 aluminum clamp plates, and Unolit spray.
