Banff Sunshine Village is a year-round resort located within Banff National Park in Alberta and Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park in British Columbia. The resort features 3,358 acres of skiable terrain supported by 12 lift systems, including 1 gondola, 7 high-speed quads, 2 fixed-grip quads, and 2 magic carpets.
Since 2012, Rocky Mountain Lift Services & Supplies Inc., in partnership with Rigging Specialties, has supported Banff Sunshine Village with a wide range of services. These include haul rope exchanges and installations, lift maintenance, inspections, rope shortening, splicing, and non-destructive testing (NDT).
In addition to service work, we have supplied critical rigging equipment such as wire ropes, Hitrac units and components, lubricants, communication lines, splice tape, shear pins, clamp plate hardware, winch cat cables, liners, PUR cable, and haul ropes.
