Panorama Mountain Resort is located in southeastern British Columbia within the Purcell Mountains. Founded in 1962, the resort originally featured a single rope tow servicing the run now known as “Old Timer.”
Today, Panorama has grown significantly, offering 2,975 acres of skiable terrain supported by 10 lift systems, including 1 gondola, 6 chairlifts, 1 platter lift, and 2 magic carpets.
Since 2013, Rocky Mountain Lift Services & Supplies Inc., in partnership with Rigging Specialties, has supported Panorama Mountain Resort with a wide range of specialized services. These include rope changes, splicing, rope exchanges, bullwheel bearing replacements, rope shortening, gearbox servicing, and non-destructive testing (NDT).
We have also supplied a comprehensive range of rigging equipment and components, such as Skilift cable, winch cat cable, splice tape, PUR cable, speed wheels, splice kits, Fatzer haul rope, pulley blocks, HIT16 systems, slings, lever hoists, gearbox kits, Kohma digital wide-mouth calipers, and Magna chain hoists.
