The Oakland Airport Connector is an automated guideway transit (AGT) system that connects Coliseum Station with Oakland International Airport in California, USA. Designed and built by Doppelmayr Cable Car (DCC), the cable-driven airport transit system operates a fleet of automated vehicles along dedicated guideways, providing safe, efficient, and reliable passenger transportation between the airport and regional transit network.
Since 2013, Rocky Mountain Lift Services & Supplies Inc. has supported the Oakland Airport Connector with specialized ropeway services and automated transit system maintenance. Our work has included wire rope pulls, sheave alignments, and technical support to help maintain the safe and reliable operation of this critical airport transportation system.
