Sea to Sky Gondola is a scenic gondola located just south of Squamish, British Columbia. The 10-minute ride lifts passengers 885 metres above sea level, offering stunning views over Howe Sound.
Open year-round, the site provides a wide range of experiences, including walking trails, a suspension bridge, viewing platforms, Nordic skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, tubing, and ski touring across 3,000 acres of backcountry terrain.
Since 2014, Rocky Mountain Lift Services & Supplies Inc., in partnership with Rigging Specialties, has supported Sea to Sky Gondola with a comprehensive range of services. These include sheave assembly work, annual gondola maintenance, non-destructive testing (NDT), line maintenance, bridge inspections and repairs, roller and sheave replacements, incident response, rope exchanges, and communication line de-tensioning.
We have also supplied specialized rigging equipment such as lubricants, Robo 3T jacks, HIT16 Habegger hoists, cables, Fatzer splice kits, and Immoos rescue gear.
