Snowbird Aerial Tram has been transporting guests above the Wasatch Mountains since 1971, connecting the base of Snowbird Resort to Hidden Peak in Utah. Rising 2,900 vertical feet, the tram offers breathtaking alpine views and remains one of the most iconic aerial transportation systems in North America.
Over the years, the Snowbird Aerial Tram has undergone several upgrades, including modern tram cabins and a rooftop observation deck that provides visitors with a unique mountain experience. While the updated cabins have a lower passenger capacity, the tram continues to be a signature attraction and an important part of Snowbird’s year-round operations.
For more than a decade, Rocky Mountain Lift Services & Supplies Inc. and Rigging Specialties have supported Snowbird with specialized ropeway services, aerial tram maintenance, and technical expertise. Our work has included maintenance support, inspections, and the supply of specialized rigging equipment to help ensure the safe and reliable operation of this iconic aerial lift system.
