Sun Peaks Resort is a year-round mountain destination located in British Columbia, Canada, featuring 13 lift systems that provide access to a wide range of terrain and outdoor experiences. The resort’s lift network includes three high-speed quad chairlifts, four quad chairlifts, and six surface lifts.
Since 2013, Rocky Mountain Lift Services & Supplies Inc. and Rigging Specialties have supported Sun Peaks Resort with specialized ropeway services, ski lift maintenance, and technical expertise. Our work has included rope shortening, rope splicing, haul rope installation and removal, bull wheel and bearing maintenance, non-destructive testing (NDT), and ongoing lift maintenance support.
We have also supplied a wide range of aerial lift maintenance equipment, ropeway components, and rigging solutions, including splicing tape, pulley block winch cables, HIT6 manual hoists, lubricants, Hitrac components and repairs, haul ropes, and clamp plates.
