Whistler Blackcomb is the largest year-round ski resort in North America, located in Whistler, British Columbia. The resort spans two mountains -Whistler and Blackcomb - which were merged into a single operation in 2003. Together, they feature a total of 34 lift systems, with 19 on Whistler Mountain and 15 on Blackcomb.
Since 2012, Rocky Mountain Lift Services & Supplies Inc., in partnership with Rigging Specialties, has supported Whistler Blackcomb with a comprehensive range of services. These include rope changes, cable cleaning and lubrication, haul rope replacements, Hitrac servicing, general lift maintenance, inspections, rope shortening, splicing, and non-destructive testing (NDT).
In addition to service work, we have supplied a wide range of rigging equipment and components, including beam clamps, wire ropes, Hitrac cables and parts, lubricants, pulley blocks, bushing kits, dynamometers, beam trolleys, and calipers.
